Dr Ranjan Chauhan qualified as a dentist in 2008 and moved to Mackay from Brisbane in 2012 .
He worked with Queensland Health and in private practice for six years before he joined at Arch Dental in 2018.
His gentle touch,honesty and the genuine care for each and every one of his patients is appreciated by all.
Dr. Ranjan firmly prescribes in "treat how you would like to be treated" philosophy. He endeavours to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in dentistry by attending continuing professional development courses.
He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Implants) .
He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a special interest in the areas of Dental Implants,Wisdom Teeth Surgery,Cosmetic dentistry and Clear aligner treatment.
Outside of work Dr Ranjan's hobbies include playing tennis ,going for run especially Saturday morning Park Runs with his family and Sunday morning bike rides with his friends.
Dr. Ranjan is a member of Australian Dental Association.
Dr.Esca (Elsie)Jacobs qualified as a dentist in 2009 and has called the Mackay region home with her husband since 2020.
Dr.Esca has a special interest in family dentistry and especially loves paedodontics (treatment of children and special needs patients) and endodontics (root canal treatment).
She enjoys camping ,travelling, reading and exploring the beautiful Whitsunday region with her husband ,son and hyperactive Jack Russell Terrier.
Dr.Sheenah grew up in Brisbane and has studied dentistry at Griffith University,Gold Coast.
She enjoy all aspects of dentistry and is often appreciated by her patients for being so thorough in explaining the dental treatment to them and putting patients at ease while providing treatment to them.
Outside dentistry, she enjoys gardening, jigsaw puzzles, hiking, and trying out new recipes.
She can speak Korean and English.
Chitra migrated to Australia in 2011 to join her husband,Dr. Ranjan and since then she has worked in various roles in public and private Dental clinics in Mackay since then.
She has a Certificate IV in Health Administration and Certificate in Workplace health and Safety.
Now at Arch dental, she helps in smooth running of the clinic and manages social media campaigns and looks after Workplace health and safety of the clinic.
She has a friendly demeanour and is always happy to have a chat with patients and staff.
She loves spending her spare time playing with her son, Rayansh and also likes listening to music and doing some artwork.
Natalie lives in Sarina and joined Arch Dental in February,2020.
She has always been interested and excited about dentistry and started working as a Dental assistant in 2002. She then took a break from dentistry as she was raising her kids and joined back dentistry in 2017.
She is very passionate about her work and helps in calming the nervous patients and is very good with dealing with kids who come to practice for dental treatment
Outside of dentistry, she loves spending time with her family and friends and loves outdoors.
Mikayla joined Arch Dental in April 2024 and is currently completing her Certificate IV in Dental Assisting. She enjoys being part of a friendly and supportive dental team. Outside of work, Mikayla loves going on holidays, motorbike riding, and reading, and she also enjoys playing volleyball.
Lara joined Arch Dental in November 2024 and is the youngest member of the team. She is currently completing her Certificate III in Dental Assisting. Outside of work, Lara enjoys going to the shooting range, motorbike riding at the beach, and camping with friends, and she holds a weapons licence.
Jayda joined Arch Dental in September 2024 and is currently completing her Certificate III in Dental Assisting. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach, swimming, going to the gym, and is currently learning to surf.
